Yellow Belt (8th Kup). Training Period - Six Weeks


You are currently a 8th Kup (Yellow Belt) student, and are training for your next grade, to Green Tag.
At the grading you will be expected to satisfy the following requirements:


  • 3-Step Sparring
  • Perform Side Kick from L Stance Guarding Block
  • Stepping forward in Walking Stance, Front Snap Kick, Obverse/Reverse Rising Block, four times with counting
  • Stepping backward in Walking Stance, Low Block/Rising Block, four times with counting
  • Measure on focus board, with Side Kick and Turning Kick

  • The meaning of the Green Belt

  • Outer Forearm Rising Block - Bakat Palmok Chookyo Makgi
  • Middle Knifehand Guarding Block - Kaunde Sonkal Daebi Makgi
  • Twin Forearm Block - Sang Palmok Makgi
  • Low Outer Forearm Block - Najunde Bakat Palmok Makgi



  • Punch (Jirugi)
  • High Punch - Napunde Jirugi



  • Strike (Tae Rigi)
  • Middle Knifehand Side Strike - Kaunde Sonkal Yop Tae Rigi
